Emi Ata’ata
Pronouns: They/She
Advises in-major students in Design and Urban Ecology. Advises all CA+P minors.
I joined the College of Architecture + Planning in May 2019. I received my B.S. in Sociology and another B.S. in Political Science from the University of Utah in 2017. In May 2019, I graduated with my master’s in Education (M.Ed.) from the University of Utah. Prior to joining the CA+P team, I worked with the TRIO Programs and Women's Resource Center at the University of Utah. I was born and raised in Rose Park, Utah. I love the mountains and eating delicious food. I am dedicated to the academic and personal success of students. I look forward to meeting with you and learning from you!

Deepika Shah KC
Pronouns: She/Her
Advises 1st year Design Foundation students. Advises all CA+P minors.
Deepika Shah KC is a Design Foundations Academic Program Manager in the College of Architecture + Planning. She works with first-year college students to support them by advising and programming. Deepika attended the University of Utah and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Ethnic studies and international studies. She has her master's in Education Leadership & Policy emphasis in higher education from the University of Utah. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, exploring new restaurants with her loved ones, and spending time with her adorable dog, Yuki.

I joined the College of Architecture + Planning in December of 2019. I arrived at the University of Utah as a Student Success Advocate a year prior. I attended and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon for both my B.A. in Developmental Psychology and my M.A in Student Affairs Administration. I love sports, music, and food; especially when all three of those things go together. I am super excited to work with you all!
