The University of Utah General Commencement will be held Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. MDT in the Jon M. Huntsman Center

General Commencement is the campus-wide opening ceremony, kicking off many events across campus and serving as a collective celebration of the University community and the collective success and accomplishments of the graduating class.

We recommend that you attend, as this year’s ceremony will feature some exciting changes and additions that should be memorable. For more information about the 2024 University of UtahCommencement, see the Commencement Website.

College Convocation

The College of Architecture + Planning Convocation will be held Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. MDT at Kingsbury Hall.

The CA+P Convocation, in the College’s tradition, is a time for graduates and their families to celebrate and recognize the accomplishments of all involved. The convocation lasts approximately 90 minutes. The main features of the convocation are student speakers and recognition of student achievements. The primary event, of course, is the individual recognition of each graduate.

Additional College of Architecture + Planning Convocation Information:
