We are a small to medium sized architectural design practice, based in Park City, Utah.

Responsibilities:
Primary focus: Compile high level of architectural construction documentation sets.
Convert scale sketch plans, sketch elevations, site plans and sketch details produced by the practice principal into a Revit model, accurately, precisely, and exactly as per the original sketch drawing.
Compile accurate and complete construction documentation sets, and coordinate the architectural drawing set with all required consultants such as structural engineer, steel fabricator, lighting designer, interior designer, landscaper etcetera.
Coordination and consultation with various HOA's, ARC's, Building and Planning Departments.
Integrate redlines, mark-ups, comments, and instructions from the practice principal into the set of construction documents.
Prepare submission sets such as Preliminary Design Submission, Final Design Submission, County submission for building permit.

Responsibilities:
- Review subdivisions and hillside development for conformity to City ordinances; review and analyze conditional use, rezoning, and Board of Adjustment applications.
- Assist in site plan review, review of landscaping plans and other site development issue for conformity to City ordinances.
- Assist in the General Plan process; gathering data, organizing statistical information; writing reports; drafting element revision; recommending goals, policies, and programs; working with citizen groups.
- Research and write staff reports for the Planning Commission, Board of Adjustment, and City Council.

Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in urban planning or an equivalent degree. May substitute work experience in planning, government, or a related field on a year-for-year basis. Experience: Six months’ experience in planning, government, or related field preferred. Planning internship preferred.
- Knowledge of and experience with architectural design, landscape design, plant materials, current and long-range planning and site plan compliance preferred.
- Certificates/Licenses: Class C (Commercial Driver’s License) required within six months of hire.
- Probationary Period: A one-year probationary period is a prerequisite to this position. Probationary period does not apply to part-time position.
- Knowledge of: Principles and practices of community development, local government operation and structures; urban planning and design, architectural design, map reading, interpretation, and principles of public relations.
- Responsibility for: Making recommendations that affect the community and the activities of people for many years to come, including the physical design of the city, quality of life issues, and the city's ability to provide efficient service delivery; responsibility for the care, condition, and use of materials, equipment, money, etc.

inForm Architecture is a young, exciting firm that is looking to expand their team with talented creatives - interior designers and architects. We are hiring a design professional who is competent in all conventional aspects of architecture. Responsible for the finished construction documents on projects of any scale. Responsible for the setup and completion of the BIM model (Revit) for a project or designated portions of a project. Familiar with Revit capabilities is fundamental. Ability to manage a team of drafters to aid in the preparation of construction documents in Revit. Implements construction document standards for inForm Architecture.
Expected hours of work: 40 hrs/week. Positions are designed to provide a flexible work environment to meet the professional development and individual needs of team members. Employees are allowed up to two days of remote work per week.
Responsibilities:
- Understands project goals and works towards achieving those goals on all levels of the project.

- Coordinates document submission to Authorities Having Jurisdiction to obtain permits.
- Coordinates project bidding processes with the contractor.
- Works in concert with multiple architectural design professionals and project managers on larger projects.
- Meets with owners along with other team members as part of the design process.
- Develops project specifications and/or coordinates with others as necessary to create project specifications.
- May assist in the design and design development of a project.
- Works on the Construction Administration phase of projects through meetings with the contractor and owners, reviewing shop drawings and submittals, responding to RFI’s, performing job site observations, and similar tasks.
- Clear internal and external communications, collaborative problem solving, and positive teamwork are essential skills.
- Maintain documentation of project progress, decision-making, and parties involved throughout all stages of design and construction.
- Participation in promotion of inForm Architecture in marketing, business development, and company service and culture activities as requested.
- Perform reviews of construction documents at varying stages for projects that are the responsibility of other staff for quality assurance and provide direction and mentoring of other staff members in performing the tasks necessary to complete a high level of quality in the construction documents.
- Train and mentor staff on job responsibilities during all phases of a project including construction administration.

AMD Architecture is seeking an Architectural Designer for a full-time position. We are a small office with a passion for creative, sustainable design.

THINGS YOU WILL DO:
This is a full-time hourly (40 hour/week) position, with overtime opportunities. Your typical week will include the following:
- Review and prepare point clouds, including various support information, for drafting/modeling.
- Use AutoCAD to draft high quality As-Built products to PPM Standards.
- Plan-check drawings/models/files to ensure high quality and clear presentation of PPM As-Built plans for every project.
- Communicate with surveyors/project managers to ensure that scope and quality expectations are met or exceeded.
- Communicate with your drafting team as needed (verbally, via email, and in regular meetings) to deliver timely projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years in an AutoCAD drafting / Revit Modeling position within a related field (Architecture, Structural Engineering, or Construction).
