Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
This is a full-time hourly (40 hour/week) position, with overtime opportunities. Your typical week will include the following:
-Review and prepare point clouds, including various support information, for drafting/modeling.
-Use AutoCAD to draft high quality As-Built products to PPM Standards.
-Plan-check drawings/models/files to ensure high quality and clear presentation of PPM As-Built plans for every project.
-Communicate with surveyors/project managers to ensure that scope and quality expectations are met or exceeded.
-Communicate with your drafting team as needed (verbally, via email, and in regular meetings) to deliver timely projects.

Job Description: Award-winning, published architectural firm is seeking highly motivated, talented interior designer or design professional architect with a thirst for learning all types of architecture and interior design. Only candidates with regional ties to Wyoming and | or neighboring states | region and an understanding of the geography, climate, politics and culture of the area. We are seeking an interior designer or design professional architect to fill a position available but will consider all levels of ability including recent graduates.
Stateline No. 7 Architects is composed of up to 7 trained and dedicated professionals including a rescued mix dog, whose focus is office morale. The firm is consciously organized horizontally rather than the traditional vertical hierarchy which allows the principals to be involved in all facets from conceptual design through construction administration. This horizontal stratification along with informal atmosphere ensures that design goals remain in focus and project objectives are obtained. The firm has a wide range of experience in diverse building types ranging from the complexities of medical facilities and large governmental and commercial developments in environmentally sensitive areas to the intimacies of multi-unit residential design.
The firm utilizes Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and uses Autodesk’s Revit. This BIM software is used from schematic mass modeling all the way through construction documents and coordination with consultant firms. 3D images and renderings combined with Photoshop, Google Earth, Sketch Up, and other interactive software programs have become the typical method that the firm uses to convey its design concepts to its clients. However, the firm still provides physical models, hand sketches and renderings when necessary to solidify the clients understanding of a project.
Qualifications: Architectural graduate or Interior Design graduate (4-year degree minimum). Proficient at Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp.

Position Title: Preservation Architect/Designer
Hiring Organization: CRSA
Architect/designer, architectural license preferred, who is competent in all conventional aspects of architecture and preservation design and construction. Performs work requiring independent judgement in evaluation, selection, and adaptation/modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Independently solves problems encountered. Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex issues and supervisory approval on proposed project plans.
-Participate in field assignments such as conditions and measurement surveys
-Proactive communication, collaborative problem solving, three-dimensional thinking, and self-direction -Stewardship planning, writing, graphic analysis, and preservation design
-Working understanding of current and historic building and site technologies
-Prepare analysis of existing conditions and treatment options in accordance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties
-Participate in all stages of project development, performing conceptual analysis documentation assignments, and developing CDs elements with limited supervision
-Participate in design review and documentation to meet State Historic Preservation Office and consulting agency requirements
-Assist in the coordination of drawings and specifications
-Represent the client in obtaining bids and awarding construction contracts
-Assist in construction observation activities and the development of associated field reports, RFI responses, submittal reviews, and ASIs
-Contribute to collaborative and effective working relationships with clients, the project team, and associated stakeholders Business and Financial Management
-Prepare schedules representing the delivery of contracts documents
-Manage project finances, including manpower schedule, consulting contracts, and tracking and reporting on project progress
-Review and approve accounts payable and receivables Marketing
-Participate in marketing efforts, including proposal writing, direct marketing, and interviews
Experience Minimum Requirements:
-Experience: 3 years
-Licensure Status: Licensure preferred
-Education: Bachelor’s degree in architecture with a preservation degree or certificate preferred
-Review capability in CAD software, preferable Revit o 3D Modeling skills in Revit and/or Sketchup o Enterprise level project management and financial management software skills in a program such as Deltek Vision
-Ability to read, analyze, and interpret architectural documents
-Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
